Wonder ALU Board Panels can be cut with running and panel saw for wood working. It is recommended to use carbide tip blade designed for Aluminum and Plastic
Shearing
Guillotine can be used for shearing wonder ALU Board in large pieces. However, a slight roll-down of the aluminum cover sheet may occur on the impact side. To avoid surface damage, protective pads can be used between down-holders and the panel.
Drilling
Wonder ALU Board can be drilled with twist drills normally used for Aluminum and plastics. Drill Material: High Speed Steel (HSS) Tool Geometry: Lip Angle: 1000 -140° or spot facing cutter with centre-point. Angle of twist : 30°-45°
Contour Cutting
Wonder ALU Board can be cut to size with water torches, CNC machines, contour saws and jig saws. Cut abrasively when using a water torch. Pre-drilling of the panels is necessary when starting the cut in the middle of a panel as it is not possible to drill through with a water torch.
Bending
Wonder ALU Board can be bent by conventional metal and plastic fabrication methods. The surface should be protected from damage by affixing plastic film or inserting polyethylene of I-2mm thickness or plastic film strips during processing.
